India’s Golden Fox Award nominates 3 Iran films

The Golden Fox Award of the Calcutta Int’l Cult Film Festival nominates 3 Iranian titles.

The 2017 Golden Fox Award of the Calcutta International Cult Film Festival (CICFF) in India has nominated three Iranian titles.

‘Catfish’ directed by Sourena Bayramlou, ‘Flatland’ directed by Alireza Keymanesh and Amir Pousti, as well as ‘I don’t Like Her’ directed by Javad Daraei are the Iranian nominees.

‘Catfish’ got the nomination in the Best Student Film section of the Indian event.

‘Flatland’ and ‘I don’t Like Her’ are respectively nominated in the Best Experimental Film section and the Best Free Speech Film section.

The winners will be announced during a ceremony on December 11, 2017.

The CICFF is an IMDb Award Listing Qualifier Festival and an official member of the Film Society of Lincoln Center, in New York.

It is a monthly online international event. Each month World film industry specialists announce 20 Officially Selected films in each category and out of them one film receives the Best of Category award. All the Officially Selected films receive CICFF Certificate.
